Capital Campaign
DSTDFI has launched a major Capital Campaign. In June, 2009 the Detroit Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. announced Phase 1 of the $500,000 Capital Campaign Drive and formed a partnership with the Foundation to expand the fundraising efforts that began in 2006. These funds will be used to Burn the Mortgage on our new facility located at 24760 W. Seven Mile Road, Detroit, MI; to finance the projects to prepare the facility for move-in readiness; to create 500 parking spaces with a covered drop-off space; and meeting spaces needed for every facet of the organization. This facility will also serve as a site for public service programs, an event venue with a complete banquet facility to serve a variety of community groups, and a place where our objectives and programs can be accomplished.
